5 p.m until 11 p.m. Buffet at 6 p.m.

(This being a Saturday, street parking should not be a problem.)

Channel Two (KJRH-TV) 3701 South Peoria.

9 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Coffee & doughnuts

HOST HOTEL: Doubletree Hotel in downtown Tulsa, 616 West 7th Street (just west of Denver). No events are currently planned there but a special rate is offered:

$65 (plus 8.517% state tax and 5% city tax) per king or double-double (Single rate and double rate is same.) A limited number of rooms have been reserved, so PLEASE make your reservations early. Additional rooms can be added…if available. Reservation dates are July 30 through August 1 but can be extended earlier or later.

AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICE is available for guests. Call from the Tulsa International Airport accommodations booth in the baggage area. Shuttle service or private automobile transportation will be available to the Channel 2 studios and to the Tulsa Press Club.


COMPLIMENTARY SELF-PARKING with in and out privileges is available to hotel guests in the covered connected parking garage.

We need help in locating ‘alumni’ of Channel 2. Unfortunately, there seems to be no list of personnel for any early era. The accompanying list is all we have at present.
